How to verify on Windows?
- Open PowerShell (Press Win + X, then select PowerShell).
- Type the following command (replace with your file path):
-
Get-FileHash .\AS_SSD_Benchmark_v2.0.7316.34247.zip -Algorithm SHA256 - Compare the resulting string with the hash provided above.
False Positives: Some antivirus software might flag portable benchmarking tools because they access low-level disk sectors. As long as your SHA-256 matches our verified hash, the file is safe to use.
Having Trouble with the Download?
Common solutions for browser blocks and file issues.
⚠️ “File is not commonly downloaded”
Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome may occasionally flag small utility tools. If you see this warning, it’s because the file is a portable executable. Click “Keep” or “Actions > Run Anyway” after verifying the SHA-256 hash provided above.
📂 Archive is Corrupt?
If you receive an “Unexpected end of archive” error, your download was likely interrupted. Please clear your browser cache and try clicking the download button again. We recommend using the built-in Windows Explorer or 7-Zip for extraction.
🛡️ Antivirus Blocks Extraction
AS SSD accesses low-level hardware information to get accurate SSD data. Some aggressive antivirus heuristics might flag this behavior. This is a false positive. You can safely add the folder to your antivirus “Exclusion List”.
⚙️ App Won’t Start?
The benchmark requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 or newer. Most modern Windows 10/11 systems have this pre-installed. If the app fails to launch, please ensure your Windows Updates are current.
